He didn't really say for certain as he didnt even respond if he is looking for a sport bike, his personal experience or anything.

Let's wait for a response first, if he ever comes back

I've been riding for almost 40 years. I don't want a lean-forward sport bike; I want a bit more of an upright riding position. I also don't necessarily want a pure "naked" bike. Something in between a sport bike and basic naked bike. But, one with some modern technology. Needn't necessarily be a new bike. I presently own a dirt bike (and an offroad Go-Ped, but that doesn't count!). And, I've ridden friends' cruisers and "police specials" and don't like the lack of handling or the weight. Lastly, I don't see where Honda is offering the 599 in the States any longer.

There. I think I've taken care of the questions. Thanks for the help and advice. And, sorry I didn't reply sooner. Didn't bring my laptop home last nite. Plus, had to watch Jack torture people and blow stuff up!

I must say the 07 FZ6's are pretty sexy, compared to previous years where I thought they looked kinda bulky.

That SPECIFIC one in the picture is a 695

I just like that color scheme too Perhaps an 05-06 Ducati monster could be had for about $6k or less.
