Default Thoughts on '08 RDX

I searched our forums but not much talk about the RDX. It's not replacing the S BTW. What do you guys think about it?

I really didn't like the CX7 interior and feel.
In Canada these vehicles with similar equipment are about the same price.

Acura RDX? Have you looked at a Subaru Tribeca? It meets or beats the Acura in almost every category:

We're a predictable lot 'round here. Saki pushing the Subarus and me pushing the Infinitis. I think the RDX is painfully ugly, and I've read they are pretty thirsty. I've ridden in a Tribeca, and it was noisy and seemed underpowered compared to our FXs (lotsa noisy revs resulted in little thrust). I'd look at the FX35; they always seem to have good lease deals on them. My $.02 worth.

In Canada the subie is $7000 more than the RDX when equally equipped. I'm starting to think the RDX doesn't sell really well in US or Canada.

Canadian MSRP for the FX35 in Canada is $63,000 when similarly equipped. $18,000 more than the RDX. Crazy pricing don't you think? The EX is much closer in price to the RDX. About $5000 more than the RDX.
No love for the RDX even from S2KI. hmmmmmmmmm

If you can live with the size, get the EX35. I drove one and loved it. Great interior.

I still appreciate the S2000 (though I doubt I'll buy another) but, otherwise, I have absolutely no interest in any Honda products.

The EX35 is tight inside, though - I saw no practical reason to get it over the G35. It's definitely less roomy than the RDX. I love the idea of the EX35 but not necessarily the execution. I don't buy a station wagon (that's pretty much what it is) to have less room for the passengers than the sedan does.
