I like the light, nimble, raw S2000. It's also low- slung to the ground with a long front hood, the way I think a sports car should look.

I have both in my garage, a Blk S2k (02) and a White 350Z Touring (04).
So far, there are no problems with the Z, although it only has 7k miles on it.
I love both cars for different reasons. In a nutshell, the Z is more comfortable and has advantages, such as a superior sound system and a lot of gadgets that are cool to play with, that the S doesn't have. BUT IMO, the Z is boring to drive in comparision to the S and doesn't see as much road time, except when I need a slightly larger trunk or going on a long drive.
About purchasing one, I had no issues test driving many, even when they first hit the showrooms. They even pulled them out of the building in 2 cases (I wasn't convinced that I wanted to buy one for a while so I ended up test driving different models from different locations for a while).
About the price, I bought my 02 S in 2002 for sticker around March and my 04 Z in April of 2004, both new. I got the Z FAR cheaper than I got my S. The funny thing is, I checked Kelly's Blue book last week when I was considering selling the Z and the car was worth quite a bit MORE (with 7k miles on it) than what I paid for it new! My understanding is that the Z is one of the better value holding vechicles in its class from an article I read a few months back. Getting a good deal on the car helped considerably in my case too I guess.
