if you do 6000RPM launches on a AWD vehicle, something is going to take the abuse, and i'd prefer it be the clutch than something further down the drivetrain. i don't have much sympathy for people wearing their clutches out in 10k mi or less...let's face it, if you got an EVO you didn't get it for styling, comfort, reliability, etc.

As a matter of fact, I got the Evo for reliability (one of the reasons). 4G63 (it's engine name) has been race proven time and time again, like I mentioned above. An engine wouldn't last over a decade unless it was almost bulletproof.

My seats wrap around me pretty well. Steering wheel has a nice feel. I like to feel the road when I drive. I'd say it's very comfortable. I like the agressive styling of the Evo. Ok, I'll admit the altezzas went to far, but that's it. A lot of you guys base your word on assumptions. I would say go test drive and come back, but I know you'd go test drive to find faults instead.

Can't beat the out of the box performance, can't beat the aftermarket performance mods. The Evo is just one sick car.

If you're planning to put mods, get the EVO. Can't beat having a 400whp sedan you can daily drive (though, mine is not up there yet, but pretty close )

Well I have decided on the STI , I will be going right after my vacation to get the deal done. I want a white one with gold rims. Take it easy and thanks for the comments.
