Thinking about buying an R6

I agree with Chris S on this ... you can never compare a liter bike to a 600 on the street.
I have owned three 600s and plenty of smaller cc bikes, none can compare to the torque of my '00 R1.
Sogno, I wonder what liter bike was too heavy for you ... I bet my R1 is comparable in weight to an R6 of the same year ... I found it was also much stiffer than the 600s I had. Probably the inverted front forks.
On the other hand, I have taken the R1 and an Suzuki SV to road atlanta and the SV was a shitload of fun.

Bottom line - we all have different riding styles. I live in a rural area, and never even ride in the city, except for brief periods like Hwy. off ramp to destination. I've never had the desire or need to wind out my R6 on the street.
