just look on craiglist.
there are always bunch of used bikes for sale.

If you haven't yet try sitting on it. I love the look of the Raven R6, but man is it uncomfortable for me. I'm sure there are plenty of people who think it comfortable (body differences)

Just a heads up in case you haven't ridden one.

I've ridden most 600s and they're almost all same to me.
All uncomfortable sports bikes are for ppl w/ style
That's why I sold it

getting aftermarket adjustable rearsets (vortex) helped out alot with ride comfort

Ive found some really good deals on some R6s. But its just a matter of having my car sold so I can jump on an R6. What are some great sounding full exhaust systems for the R6?

I have dirt riding experience but I will be taking a motorcycle class before I get on a bike to get my feet wet again.

good idea to take the mfs course. just an fyi riding dirt is not the same as street riding.

id say first thing to invest in would be some decent gear. helmet, gloves, jacket, boots, etc.

Beware of the '02 and earlier 2nd gear issues! The '03 and up tranny is a direct drop-in, however...
