The brand new TT's are awesome, you can get that style front end for my generation also, check out these. They are hot, but they are $$$ too.

I was bitching about how my overtime hasn't gotten paid in almost a year now.
I'm thinking about the REVO ECU tune and how I need some extra cash to get it.
My girlfriend offered to help me pay for it... Awesome. That will take some of the bite out of playing catch-up with the s2000.

That TT is still FWD based. It's not a real quattro car.

From Wikipedia:

Among European car fans "Haldex" refers to the aforementioned differential system: its most prominent use is in all transverse engine 4x4 models of the VAG group (Audi A3 and TT, Volkswagen Golf and Passat), making them non-permanent 4x4s, unlike longitudinal engine models (Audi A4, A6, A8) which use a Torsen-like differential. However, its short reaction time (only a seventh of a wheel spin) amply makes up for its non-permanent AWD (like Torsen) setup.

Also noteworthy is that purists despise the fact that "low end" Audis equipped with the "Haldex system" bear the same name (quattro) as their "greater" brethren using the Torsen differential: true, the original Audi Quattro coupe did use a Torsen differential - but then again, it had a longitudinal engine.
TT is a nice looking car and I'm a big Audi fan!

I'd pass on the modding, though. Enjoy it for what it is, save your money towards the next car, and upgrade a month sooner instead.

Why hasn't your overtime gotten paid in almost a year now? Check out your state's wage and hour law (e.g. google New York Wage and Hour Act). Our Act, at least, provides for recovery of attorney's fees in addition to the unpaid wages, so you shouldn't have a problem finding representation if you have a legit claim (assuming that your statute is similar to ours). You may have meant nothing by the comment, but I'm up at 2:20 a.m. working on an appellate brief, so my mind is racing... And, what the hell is rai doing up on s2ki at this time when he's, presumably, got to be giving someone the gas tomorrow???

They owe me for about 225 hours of work.
I could easily take legal action, but the job itself is good.
It's a good company to work for (aside from the OT).
It would make it uncomfortable to work there if I did.

They gave everyone an extra paid vacation day because of it, and are "working on it". Anyone know of any hiring architecture firms??

Nice choice for a daily driver.

Here's a pic of my old TT. Loved the car, but had trouble with electricals leaving me stranded.
