Default Testing an Evo VIII...

I will definitely test-drive an Evo next week. For years, I've always wanted to drive one, and next week will be my chance. I've talked to a salesman and we agreed on a test-drive. Should be fun! And it should be a low 13-sec car. JDM Evo's are mid to high 12-sec cars.

275hp + 270 ft/lbs + AWD = fun fun fun!!!

Are they available already? I didn't think they arrived yet.

where and when exactly.... since they are pretty much sold out for the first 2-3 months I would not think any dealer would let anyone test drive one.....Plus they are not even in the states yet. ??

Please help us understand.

What prices are dealers asking for the Evo? How much mark up do they want to drive away with the car?

But I would expect the EVO9 to add them back in, given that the STi has DCCD.

Any knuckledragger can floor a car and feel the vtec.... it takes some fairly hard driving to ever notice any difference with ACD...... You think too many people will go "drifting" on snow covered roads in their shinny EVO's at 10/10's what the car can do? Just more gizmo's and gadgets to break.... about 5% may notice the differnce on the track (which is only a small % of a normal persons driving anyway).

I assume AYC is similar to stability control.? That is for the BMW crowd.... funny how the EVO I - Evo VI did not have AYC, but now it is a must!
