i drove an evo, it wasn't as fun as the S. My cousin has an STI, i like my S a lot better. S is an experience of its own

Basically, you have to drive the STi with the mentality that it needs a good bitchslap in order to turn. You don't drive it so much as you "toss" it.

I don't own one, but I have spent quite a few miles in one (and in my 2.5RS - an STi without the power or great suspension) and in order to get the most out of these cars, you have to be rough.

i was disappointed when i testdrove the STi also. it was an 05 with about 100 miles on it. granted i had the A/C on, but when i took it up to near redline, the car didnt feel that fast, kind of laggy. i figured this was maybe because it wasnt broken in yet, and i had the A/C on, but i thought it would be faster. i need to test drive it again

[QUOTE=y2ks2k,Dec 20 2004, 09:27 PM] ...With the Sti, you slip the DCCD to all far rear as you can to get it (oversteer at that point) and you crunch the accel to the floor and let the AWD whip you in the corner. I can do stuff in my Sti I wouldn
