The AC must be great. Those vents are looking a bit nipply.

Ha ha, when I went from a C5 vette to a e90 BMW the first thing I noticed was, "where's the a/c?" Seriously, even with a sun sensor it wouldn't maintain a 72 degree interior on an 80 degree day. I had the BMW service manager look at it and the best he could do was, "maybe you'd like a 7 series? Those have twin a/c units."

A friend of mine in college had a Pontiac Cavalier. It was of course generally junk. However, as compared to my generally great Camry there was no comparison when we talked AC. Perhaps it's not overly surprising. GM invented the modern AC unit when they invented R-12. They also seemed to feel it was better to make one AC pump that worked for all vehicles so your big Caddy had the same pump as the small cars hence the small car had one hell of an AC system! Toyota seemed to have the same idea but I think they sized their pump for a Tercel

A friend of mine works at a body shop and has for a long time. You can tell build quality a lot when you see a car torn down. He mentioned the CTS was one of the crappiest cars he's ever seen. The new ones may be better, but I doubt by much.
