It is always fun to see who the better driver is, but I really like the comparisons where one talented driver takes out multiple cars to compare them. and runs enough laps to get tire pressures close to optimum and "figure out" the car. They don't do that often enough in magazines.

Quickag - The car that hit 145 was a Ruf R Turbo on slicks....so yes, TONS of traction and HP!! And if Rex is out there on Saturday I promise Jack will let him run with you, Jack and Rex are good friends.

So yeah, I guess it wasn't?
the z06 never came in coupe form, sorry.

The Z06 has always been an FRC.

Quickag, this is Rex, Keith was confused... Kyle hit 156 in the ruf at the end of the front straight. I would assume he could do much better with the Porsche carbon ceramic brakes. The standard turbo brakes aren't able to take the 550hp with slicks at a place like MSR. That track is best at melting brakes. Most of the members that use the track alot all have brake upgrades. I am just hoping the ceramics will be enough...because damn...they were too expensive. What are your track times out there? I was doing 1:25's in my 996, I am anxious to see what the GT3 will do.

Also....About the Z06, I have raced several of them on the highway (120+) and the two cars are usually dead even until around 150 where my 996 would start to pull....very very slowly. But, I am sure a Z06 would kill me off the line. BTW, this is Rex, not Keith
