The Ford Mondeo is a Front-wheel drive car. The Jaguar X-type shares the same chassis, just modified for 4-wheel drive. The european Ford company is a completely different division from the American Ford. I don't think either share cars with each other (meaning that there are no american styled fords in europe and vice versa.)
