Also you need to consider all the awesome amenities available on the SHO. I'd take it over pretty much any car in it's class including the germans and the G8 GXP. Don't get me wrong I love the G8 but if I (emphasis on I) was buying one it would be as a family hauler as any 4 door should be...and while the SHO is prob about 70%-80% of the GXP performance it's much better as a family car.
With all that said if I was in the market for this class I'd go with a lightly used G8 GT and save 10-15 grand.

Plus you would sound like a ricer going down the road, you would have 10 ricers following you down the road, and then your car would be stripped and stolen and sold to ricers later on.

I saw an SHO today being driven by a woman. Sure, she wasn't driving it like I'm sure a car enthusiast would through a twisty road but when I did a passing maneuver on a big rig with the lady in the SHO behind me, she followed and was on my ass like I wasn't even trying to go quickly. Those things are quick.
