haha, this remind me of my friend's H1. When they were up north in Michigan. Their H1 got stuck in the snow. It took 3 Grand Cherokee to tow it out. That was 8 years ago.

IMO, this has nothing to do with driver ability, and everything to do with the driver not knowing how to get a vehicle unstuck from the snow.
Although from what I can tell, not much effort was made...

This has everything to do with driver....it is high centered.... any vehicle would be unless you blast through it........ it looks like the driver had some balls to try it, but didn't hit it hard enough.... it would have happened with a 4 runner, jeep or any normal 4x4.....
you can see the snow is all shoved up under the frame..... how would any of you have prevented that? (other than hitting it at 40mph instead of 20mph like this guy did).
getting it unstuck would be just digging out the middle to let the tires come back down to the ground.... of course we don't know the full story, so someone may have shot this picture 10 seconds after they got it stuck.

The driver's judgement, maybe, but "ability" has little to do with it. Drive through a lot of snow often enough, sooner or later you'll get stuck. The H2 driver
1) didn't make an effort to get his wheels back on the ground by breaking the chunks of snow/ice under neath
2) wasn't prepared for getting unstuck - shovel(s), pick, winch, etc.
This was typical of the trolls from lower michigan who came up to the UP and thought they could go anywhere because they had a 4x4 (with all-season tires, no less)...

ok...i didn't pay attention to the saturday night vs sunday morning thing............. I have gotten things stuck without having a shovel with me...... sometimes you can use your feet and hands and sometimes not..... that is not a huge deal.
At least the guy (or gal) attempted to have some fun with it.... next time they will know to hit it harder..... ya live and learn.

I think those two pictures were taken at the same time. One just had a flash and the other didn't. See how blurry the second one is? That's because of really low light levels and long shutter speeds. In the first one, all you can see is the flash.
The main thing that got me thinking they're at the same time, actually, is the fact that it appears the same trooper is standing by the car in each shot.
