The SUV, finally dead.

DEAR GOD, HOW DID WE EVER DO IT BEFORE SUV's!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
Funny how my dad used to tote me, my mom and 2 other teammates of mine all around for soccer practice and games in a '83 Honda Civic S.
Vehicles that can do what SUVs do....only better, more fuel efficient
1. Vans and mini-Vans
2. Station Wagons.
3. Large sedans.
Unless you are towing all over the place all the time and dropping hay bails and shit all over your 1000 acre farm....you do not need an SUV. I hate them. They clog the roads and their drivers are ****ing worst. Good riddance!

I bought a Toyota Tundra Crew Max with the 5.7 motor because I hunt and use it to carry my surfboard and take our karts to the track. I also use it take my 2 little boys to school in it because I can push traffic out of my way when they are late for class.
I just added the TRD supercharger because, now with over 500 HP it adds to my fun and I want to leave a giant carbon footprint behind.
It's always the little cars who whine and bltch how much they hate huge vehicles, how about staying the hell out of the way. When I ride my sportbike on the street, I use a novel approach I avoid big vehicles. I would hate to be all squished in some shlt box ecno car cause I'm penny pinching over a few bucks. It's like flying first class all your life and then being sent to to steerage.

We love our LR3 and have no plans to rid ourselves of it.
Given that it never sees service without 4 people in it the actual fuel consumption is below that of my S2000 that only seats 2 people.
Glass houses, stones .... an idea easy to understand no?

Which is why it makes it all the more fun to slow waaaay down and not let the SUV driver pass-by when they're stuck behind me

if you guys are advocating the use of minivans over an suv what about the pilot and the oddesy? they practically share the same engine, but the 4wd makes it awful more convenient when we go snowboarding. the statement that all suv's are bad is too broad and unfair.
i agree that there are bad drivers with suv's out there, lots of them, but that doesn't mean that because of that suv's are bad. i live in socal and there are plenty of horrible female drivers who dont look because theyre on the phone all the time and always try to plow into me but i blame it more on the drivers and not the car.
