Are all these cars with ridiculously high beltlines just for safety standards? That trunk lid looks chest high..

The proportions I see are unlikely to make it into production. The front over hang is way too short, the roof is way too chopped, the wheels are way too big. It's still based off an economy car for granola munching soccer mommies, so it will have lots of glass and smaller wheel wells. The engine is ahead of the wheels, so there is no way the overhang will be that short.

I think people will be a little disappointed when reality does not align with this cartoon car.

I really like the concept car. I do not like the concept car as a WRX/STi.

looks good, but doubt the actual product will look anything like it.

Does anyone remember the last WRX concept that came out before the production version?

I think it looks pretty sweet. Hopefully the production car looks similar to this and comes with:

-lower curb weight (strongly rumored)
-better gas mileage (again strongly rumored)
-275-300 hp
-fixed caliper brake calipers with a more stout braking system.
-available hatchback body style

Also, the rumor of an electric turbocharger anti-lag feature continues to hang around...

I like it. It's better looking than the out going car.

First non-horrible looking WRX I've ever seen

I doubt this is what it will end up looking like, but it would certainly be nice.

Hopefully huh. The dimensions are nice too. Wider, shorter, and... shorter.
