The I submit that you are inept at driving an Sti and your 5 minute test drive clearly doesnt give you much of a standing point. You are calling a car that has already distigushed itslef as a world class handler like the Evo who both put up handling figures better then cars double and tripple its value. Either this or the one you test drove had its sway bars stripped of for some reason. Spong Breaks: Last Autocross I was at, I was parked next to A 02 911 Turbo with happned to have the exact same brakes as my Sti. You call breaks "spongy" that experts have gone as far as saying is the best 70mph-0 car there is. 300 HP is 300 HP amd 300 fp/torque is 300 fp/torue) and in an Sti pushes it to 13.3 second even for a poor driver (12.9 for the best).
I submti to you that you dont know how to drive it.

But let me get this straight--I'm able to immediately find weaknesses of the car that you have yet to discover and somehow this makes ME a bad driver? Push a little harder and maybe you'll see what I'm talking about.

What's up with all the personal attacks on my driving skills that you certainly know nothing about? I've only pointed out the deficiencies that I uncovered during a test drive--most of which are echo'd in all the major mags (or am I an inept reader now, too?). The STi may feel great back to back with your MDX, but i don't drive an SUV, so my frame of reference is a bit different than yours.

This is pretty much how all the reviews that I have read see it. The EVo has better brakes, more lively, better handling chassis. The STI has the bigger, more powerful motor.
