Steve Millen Edition Maxima's
Anyone know much about these Maximas. My friend is selling a 1998 Stillen Edition Maxima. Apparently an SE Trim 5 speed with Stillen cosmetic stuff, Momo 18" wheels, custom Exhaust, intake, downpipe etc.... not S/C though.
Info? Good? Bad???
It looks exactly like this
Thanks

Here is some information I have obtained from maxima.org, courtesy of Bejay1 on that same forum.
The Stillen SMX came in 2 flavors, the first beginning in Nov '95. The were available through certain Nissan dealers as special order packages. I remember seeing one on display in '96 when I started shopping. It stickered at like $34K though!
SMX orig stage 1 - Highflow intake, exhaust, FSTB, progressive springs dropping 1.25", cross-drilled rotors, aero kit, grille, Yoko AVS on 17x8 momo wheels, and a bunch of interior & exterior bling
SMX orig stage 2 options - Type2 rear wing, 13" rotors, calipers, pads, tinted windows, short-throw shifter
SMX S/C - obviously the supercharger, RSB, Yoko A520 tires instead of the AVS, and RSTB in addition to front.
I doubt you'll find more detail than this. Good Luck.
It seems that if it is the Steve Millen edition it should be documented, however from what I have seen it seems that it was only made in 95 and 96, so check before you buy a regular Maxima with some mods.

most likely everything added to the car was done by himself. and the reason he calls it the STILLEN Edition is cuz he prolly has the stillen bodykit and a whole bunch of other stillen mods(such as RSB,FSTB,RSTB,rotors, intake, exhaust blah blah blah) on his car therefore he calls it stillen edition. my max in my sig looks just like the one u posted except it doesnt have the wheels. to answer ur question, pretty sure its a tricked out maxima by the owner and not stillen. although stillen specializes in nissan/infiniti and has a whole lotta parts for maxima's

I have never seen a Stillen Max in person before, but they do exist. Car & Driver did a write-up of the mod package years ago (1997?) in a story about the then growing import performance market.
Stillen parts existed for the 3G Maxes too, just not performance stage modifications.
