I was wondering the same thing. Last I heard, he got into some sort of arguments with someone and got banned?

I was the straw that broke Xviper's back. He didn't get banned, he left on his own accord. Had it up to *here* with young whippersnappers posting with a lack of respect, etc.

And then I got him so mad on the "other site" (S2KCA) that he left as well. He didn't like me "disrespecting" him, either, by disagreeing with an opinion of his. He just snapped at me, got huffy and left. He'd have been banned anyways, so good riddance. Pretty funny, when it was all said and done.

The guy had some serious issues, most of it revolving around how important he thought he was to the community. He was a great resource, just not enough to put up with the prima donna attitude he brought to the table on a regular basis. Not to mention, in your particular case, he was actually wrong. Drawings, patterns and artistic works are automatically protected by copyright upon creation and are subject to civil penalties for copying, stealing or otherwise using them without the originator's permission.
