the srt4 could have 500hp and handle like a vett, but at the end of the day you still drive a neon.

Am I the only one that looked at the chart?

Using the troll's posting, I can also conjecture that a Dodge Ram 1500 and a 300C are WAY better cars than an SRT-4. Moreover, that a Daytona coupe can hang with the best of them.

The fact is, the original poster has not taken into account what kind of a race the One Lap is, nor how or where points are scored.

Nothing against the car, it's just bad logic.
LOL You don't know anything about the cars that you listed, do you? The ram is a tube frame chassis. The 300c was a factory sponsored car. And lastly, are you saying the daytona coupe is slow? 1.2 on the skid pad and 800hp is something that could hardly be called slow. Also, please enlighten us on how the event is scored. I would love to hear the excuses why the s2000 didn't perform. I have nothing against s2000's. In fact, I think they are sexy little roadsters which would be a blast to drive. I just don't see why all the neon bashing is necessary?

An even better question would be: Why do non-s2k owners come on this board to try to prove something? Are they that insecure?

LOL You noticed that too! They say there is one in every crowd, unfortunately the SRT crowd has many.

As for my posting the one lap results being illogical, I disagree. The event is a torture test of roadraces and highway miles. The fact a SRT 4 finished 8th overall with readily available Mopar parts I think says alot. Especially considering the top 10 was filled with some radical entries. And as I said, this was not meant to be a Honda bashing. Only some sort of "proof" the Neon can be a good all round sports car. (using the term sports car VERY lightly lol)

But you are all right, I am trolling. I guess there is no point in pursuing this any longer. Cheers!

I really, really, REALLY hope you're not pre-law.

Otherwise, I'm glad you had fun.
