Squadra Piloti: Exotic car "trading" club
Before I say anything, I apologize in advance if this is a repost.
I was reading an article on Scott Speed and apparently he just started this new company called Squadra Piloti. It is basically a networking website where you list what kind of car you have, list what kind of cars you would like to drive, and then it will match you up with someone in your area who fits your profile so that you can swap cars for however long you like. If you do not have an exotic, some owners will still allow you to take their cars out for a specified fee. It is kind of an interesting concept, although I do not know how well it will work. It is free to sign up and it will tell you immediately if there are any possible matches. If anyone decides to actually do it, let us know how it goes

This sort of service began in Britain. The one they started in Old Blighty was a service where, for 50,000 pounds a year, you could be part of this exotic car club, and every month or so you could trade in what you rented out last month and pick up something else to tool around in.
It's still an expensive proposition, but a great idea if you have money but don't want to mess with the maintenance associated with owning such cars over an extended period. I think you pay a certain amount per month while you have a car signed out too, but I can't recall how much.

And as far as traditional exotic car rentals go, prices vary greatly depending on the location. While agencies in Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, etc. might charge $2,500 for a Ferrari 360, one that I visited in Honolulu only charges $950. I wanted to rent a 355 Spider for $650 when I was there, but they wouldn't let me, so I "settled" on a Maserati Spyder for $300

Sh!t for $300 I'd rock a Maserati.
The day I rented the Maser, I drove from Honolulu all the way to the North Shore. This is what the roads looked like the entire way up there
