I don't get it, like every thread about the Skyline there is somebody complaining about it looking like a G35, that is like someone complaining about about an NSX-R looking like an NSX. The ignorance amazes me.

Well, I work for someone that owns a Nissan dealership. Big dealers are estimated to get 6-8 GTRs a year, smaller dealers may see 1-2 cars a year max. I would count on astronomical markups for atleast the first 12 months of production.

^Maybe the feel that it shouldn't look like a G35. People might feel for the extra money and performance they would like it to look more unique. You should of heard all the complaining about the Z06 looking to much like the C6. That makes even less sense as they are the same car. Wikipedia is reporting the GTR is not actually based on the G35 platform, but I can't vouch for it. I will look around a bit more.
