It's pretty sad to see overall sales down like that. It's also no wonder that S2000's seem to be everywhere I look.

What's the story on your name -- the FC part?

They do? I am lucky to see one every two weeks, and I think others can vouch for me when I say that it's a pretty rare car, maybe not as rare as a lambo, but very uncommon nonetheless..

Curious that with the exception of the newly released cars, only the 911--the most expensive one listed--has actually increased in sales. This is consistent with an article I read which said that 911 sales were up b/c these buyers weren't as affected by soft economy (at least when it comes to a car purchase) as the less wealthy Boxster buyers.

EvoVII - perhaps CG meant that he saw a lot of S2000's at the dealer's lots.

kinda something you would expect with the economy and stock market in the shape it is in.
I just hope all the car companies don't put their heads up their repsective asses and think this means americans don't want sports cars/coupes/verts/etc. That happened for a while and it sucked.

looks like the 350Z will pass the corvette sales mark. Thank god

I don't think the S2000 is all that common, it's like 1 car for every 1800 new cars and trucks sold. Or take the entire population of cars in the US (300 million vs 20,000 S2000's) and it's like one out of every 15,000 cars, or 1-2 cars per average size town.

I mean that I see S2000's very often on the street and on dealers (used) lots. Some days I may not see any on the street and other days I'll see 8 or 10.
