Yup...its pretty much like that in every major city in the Middle East. Go to Dubai, Manama, most cities in Saudi Arabia, etc., and you see nothing but Lamborghinis, Mercedes, Porsches, Ferraris, etc.

Imagine you go to get a haircut, and see Ferraris and Porsches parked in employee spots. When you get inside, you find the haircut costs US$10,000. It becomes clear why the price is so high, i.e. paying for expensive cars. Substitute oil for haircuts, and you can see what he is saying. (Although, the cars you posted are hardly ridiculously expensive.)
