looks like a A6, but since it's a VW, i fear the reliability of this machine..

Cues aren't bad. . . so long as they don't copy. Yak!
I don't know, the lack of creativity and the follow-the-leaderism bugs me. Love it or hate it, at least BMW did go out on a limb and come up with a new concept. Then everyone has to jump on the bandwagon a follow suit. It's like Altezza tails all over again, if they could have just left it alone they would have been fine, but no... as soon as someone does something different, everyone goes and does the same thing.

In the BMW/flame surfacing case it's really an emperor-has-no-clothes situation. Yes, BMW did something, and yes we all always follow what the Germans are doing, but did anyone stop to realize that it's ugly?

Nice interior! I'd even consider it over bmw 3 series now that new 3 sedan is so ugly, IF the new passat drives well. I read somewhere that new audi a4, not the 2005.5 one but the one after that will have better weight distribution for more sport feel. Does the new passat have any improvement in sportiness?

I agree that the side profile looks like BMW's design.
Even the dash board looks more BMWish than Audi, but the car is very nice overall.

Electronic key, yet another way to get stranded in a VW in the coming years...

Just coz you find two pictures of different cars taken from the same angle doesn't mean they look anything alike. This VW looks great.

I didn't say anything about great looks or bad looks.

Look at the roofline.
