im kinda feelin it.... L-TWIN BABY!!!!
30hp up on 749 and 5hp down on 999, nomore dry clutch and brembo monoblocs.
i really want to jump on this when it comes out but i should probably wait about a year to hear more feedbacks.
gotta take that passenger seat off, paint lower fairing to match rest of the bike and slap on some termis.... GOD!!!!

Having ridden a 1098S and a 748 extensively, I'm pretty sure it will be a horrible street bike and a great track bike....but, for the track, is $13K+ chump change enough to you so you can thrash it w/o worrying about crashing it?
I've had more fun at the track on beater bikes that I wasn't so worried about trashing.

Well, my bike isn't the greatest street bike either (RC51) and it's still fun for what it is. I think that 848 is dead sexy, but I couldn't justify the cost compared to a modded Gixxer1k or something else that would handily outperform it.

I owned an SP2 RC51, and though it's been about 5 years since I last rode it, my recollection is that it was a better street bike than the 1098 (i.e. less uncomfortable, better mirrors, less toasty). That's not to diss the 1098....it works very well @ what it was designed for.

I love the white. I am thinking about picking up a set of platics and doing the same scheme to my 1098S. but i got the black 1098s with red frame so it would be white with red.... hotness....
P.s. sell the rest of those parts on R6messagenet???

yea i sold everything. car is now bone stock with just comptech SC.
so u have black 1098S
god... just keep it like that... but like u said if ur gonna pickup another set of fairings to play around... that would be cool.
