It's odd with Ferrari. Some things are do so well crafted and other things are bottom barrel parts bin or low quality. Where they put their resources is very clear on their cars.

great looking and sounding car.... but.... (IMO).... paddleshifters i assume... #fail I will never own any paddle shift car again.
I have driving a few lambo's and ferrari's and my own e92 M3 paddle shifters and they suck donkeys in every way. Vipers FTW.
I know dual clutch may be faster at shifting but damn does it take the joy and skill out of driving.

Both nice cars but the Ferrari is leagues away build quality wise!
Like all things Italian it looks nice tho.

rather speaking truth about Ferrari reliability
FWIW, some of these "bunch of guys" people isn't a Ferrari hater or is jealous, for he owns a Ferrari for the past 4 years, belongs to a Ferrari club, and goes on drives/lunch regularly with other Ferrari owners.

And yes, the 458s have e-diff issues... but most owners aren't going to run into those problems, since they hardly drive them.
The 430 scud always reminded me of a S2000 on steroids, while the 458 was like a better handling, much much faster NSX.
