Default SLAMMED C6

Came in around 1AM and woke up to this the next morning...

These low life thieves must've known that I frequently park here at my friend's place overnight.
Insurance adjuster will be coming to see the damage sometime tomorrow.
Is it okay to leave the car like that on concrete blocks for an extended period of time?
It'll most likely take more than a week to get replacement wheels, so should I put it on jack stands after the insurance guy takes a look at it?

As an insured, you have a responsibility to mitigate the damages, meaning, put it on stands. However, it's always adviseable to unspoil the scene as much as possible. Take a lot of good pics and then put it on stands.
Carefully look under the rockers, bumpers, and suspension for damages. The estimate is gonna be pretty high.

Other than the rocker panel, I don't think there's much damage to the vehicle.
Any reason why you think the estimate is gonna be pretty high?
What should I check for possible suspension damage?
The whole front is sitting on the front brake rotors, FYI.

Thanks,

Dan

shouldn't be suspension damage, but get it on stands and make sure your rotors are not damaged in any way. what a bunch of assholes

Don't corvette frames bend if the door is opened when the car is like that, or is it just the older vettes. I'd put it on jack stands or spare tires asap.

Who steals vette wheels anyway?
