Mainly the looks, especially the front end treatment. Changes the character from mean and muscled but still damn good looking, to "look at me, look how rough and mean I look!" The torque curve is a bit odd. And although I know this is silly, given that it's a M-B (and the trend in general), it would be nice to have a manual trans to play with all that power.

i've driven both the v8 kompressor and 6.3L v8 powerplant...and i prefer the supercharged engine much more...i hope MB goes back to FI with their AMG's again soon.
of course there's the v12 bi-turbo but that thing is supernatural, and so is the price.

The use a SL63 as the F1 pace car, and it looks amazing. Very impressive how fresh this basic design has stayed for MB, even before this facelift, these are still some of the best looking and most contemporary cars on the road.
