i don't get it. will the dealer allow the OP out of the lease contract?
if not, there's no point looking for a new car.

2 Dogs .. Honda Element is greatest thing in the world for dogs (or kids). It is certainly not a blast to drive but makes an excellent 'lifestyle' vehicle. Of course 'fun' can come in many flavors. Shopping the low end for something old and used can yield unexpected surprises for diddly squat. And just think what your neighbors will say behind your back!

from your lineup they are all nice cars but i would go with the RL.if you have 2 dogs and they are big i would go for the MDX. mom has one and overall its a a great vehicle with enough power to get around town and such. acura ftw!!

I think you are confused. Your objective does not match your actions and planning.
I don't think this saves you any money at all. Just admit it, you're bored and want to be a car slut. It's okay. We won't judge.

I don't know why people buy these cars and then sell them in an attempt to be frugal. If you wanted to be frugal, you shouldn't have bought the car in the first place. You're going to eat it on resale.
Unless you're saving hundreds of dollars on a monthly payment, reducing the total amount owed on the vehicle by thousands of dollars, or shortening the finance term by years, you're never making a good financial decision when selling one car for another "to be frugal". You're better off sticking with the car you have.
It sounds to me like the OP wants to shave some money off his monthly payments, and the cars he's looking at are not going to give him enough punch in the finances. But, what would I know, I've only been in the car business since 1989 and have tried to do what the OP is attempting numerous times.....it never works.

I know this statement doesn't make a whole lot of sense to most people, but I get it. You're absolutely right!

I can't imagine any of these cars would be significantly cheaper then keeping the current car.
