If your budget is under $16K, you just bought a new house, and your commute is only 6 minutes, why try to ball it? $8k used accord.

Not much more depreciation to worry about, will run forever, no temptation to mod.
my exact thoughts. dont know how much you have already paid down the G35 but if you could get $8k back after paying off the remaining balance, how nice would NO car payment be. only problem is selling your G35. you are going to be hard pressed to get a good price out of it.

With a six minute drive, I think I'd get some roller blades and call it a day.

I'm not sure how big your dogs are, but leather + dog is never a good combo from my experience.
Really?

I would say the opposite. Cloth + Dogs = nightmare for any vacuum

Leather was a must for my vehicles given that I have two dogs to carry around. Of course if you have dogs that don't shed at all cloth might not be as bad

OP- Out of the cars you mentioned I would say go for the RL unless the room for dogs is that important. If so do what I did and get a used FX35 like mentioned above. The FX is fun to drive and can be modded easily if you so choose since it is basically a G wagon

Or just go with some nice rollerblades like JonBoy said

if your worried about economy and want to be frugal, i agree with vader. buy a cheap car that is easy to fix if any problems. wait until your very comfy with your financial position, then pull the trigger on something baller. while driving cheapy car, pocket all that extra money

I don't know why people buy these cars and then sell them in an attempt to be frugal. If you wanted to be frugal, you shouldn't have bought the car in the first place. You're going to eat it on resale.

I know that I'm going to eat a bunch in selling the car I've already come to that conclusion lol, but at this point I'm going to suck it up and move forward not sit around and mope with a $500 car payment.

Anyway it's going to come down to a black or pearl white FX35 vs. MDX.

First, how did this comment help the OP?

Second, I guess we all can't be so lucky to never make a decision we regret

i don't get it. will the dealer allow the OP out of the lease contract?
if not, there's no point looking for a new car.
