They might need proof for insurance to pay out. If you left the property prior to the claim it gets a little more complicated. Good luck!

Nearly speechless, it has been a week?! I wouldn't be trusting a valet service again, not that I would after all the stories and videos I've seen and heard. How hard can it be to park a car without hitting something. It's actually worth going out of your way for to avoid a valet service as sad as it is.

I don't use valets on my personal vehicles.

I always thought the valet was the best way to avoid door dings and all that. If I ever valet again, I'm going to go over the car with a fine tooth comb.

Man, I have a bad feeling they're going to try to bone me on this one.

Dude, that really sucks. Best of luck that they sort out the situation.

A few years back, a construction crew had a stand-up metal sign that fell and landed on the back of my M5 while I was at work, scraping up the bumper. I confronted them, took pictures, filled out some forms, got an estimate, and amazingly enough a couple of weeks later had a check for $800 to repaint the bumper. Hope you have the same better luck.

Wow. That's good that they did the right thing. I just can't fathom how I would ever damage someone else's property and then be able to look myself in the mirror if I were to weasel out of it.

Hahaha.

I really need to start asking Car Talk for advice before I make any automotive decisions.
