Now for the jag experience stuff.
One of my buddies gave up the lease on his gs 300 to buy a new xj8 last year.
The car is elegant, comfy etc...
From delivery the trim on a rear tail light was hanging off.
The dealer had to order a new unit and put it in.
Four months after getting the car, the engine seized.
The dealer makes him drive an old volvo while they sort stuff out.
Early on they told him the plugs were bad.
It turned out that the serpentine belt got tangled and the top end of the motor got eaten.
Then they had to get a new motor over from the UK and get that put in.
In retrospect he feels he should have waited a year and gone for the new GS.

Great read. I wish more could hear more stories about WWII. Especially from guys that were there. Unfortunately, stories will be all that we have left.
