Man you get pretty bad mileage, if my S got 18 I'd sell it too, but since I average 26 over my two years of ownership I don't have to worry.
The new turbo Mini Cooper S has a small 1.6 in it that gets 32 city 36 highway, back seat probably isn't so big but the S doesn't have one at all.
