Sell MY01 S2K for a BMW MCoupe?
I am thinking of selling my S2K for a 00-02 BMW MCoupe. I am not sure if this is a step up for me, and would like to know what you guys think.
I am leaning towards the 240HP model which is 99-00 since the one with the 315HP motor (01-02) is sooo rare and expensive.
Should I sell or keep the S?

Well they are definitely going to be different. But I love M coupes, so I'd definitely tell you to rock one. I think M coupes get a lot more respect than M roadsters, especially at the track. Not sure what price you're looking at, but I'd imagine an M coupe would hold its value longer than an S2000, at least down to the mid-high teens.
But I love S2000s too. I'd love to be rockin' either, to be honest.

Right...I think I'd go if I can buy the S54 (315HP) version. But this is really hard to find and it is in the 30's. So I might be better off buying an E46 M3 used.
Does anyone have experience on both cars? I want to test drive one but can't find anything for sale locally. i want to know which performs better.

Drive an M Coupe if you haven't already. They're good cars, but their lack of body control can be distressing:
The M3's suspension benefits from two generations of refinement (the M Coupe was based on the Z3, which had an E30-derived rear suspension), and it shows in the way it drives.

Ugly as sin, but they are a real head turner. Very rare. I've seen one in person and the owner had the plate "Ugly M" on it. But I bet this car is a sweet ride. There is one in a very rare blue for sale in NJ right now.
