I am ok with the Evo... I think the STI should be about the same? who knows... If the STI beats the shit out of the evo in every category I would maybe have to think about switching.

I went to two separate Mitsu dealers and they refused to let me test drive it. They said it was official Mitsubishi Japan policy that no one is allowed to test drive it. What a joke.

A BC allows you to specify what PSI you want to run MAX. The EVO's ECU currently changes the boost from 19PSI to 16PSI at whatever RPM range. A good BC shouldn't spike past the specified boost and should hold it as long as possible.

Because we have crappy 91 octane gas in the west, and in order to run detonation free (while maintaining emissions standards) the boost is dialed back in the higher rpms... Once tuned properly there's no reason you couldn't see 19psi all the way to redline..
