Just wanted to know how you guys were likin your car as a daily driver. I'm thinking about getting one in the near future. If that happened the S would sadly have to go.....don't know if i'd miss it too much or if the beastly EVO would consume me. One thing's for sure the S is a wayyy better lookin car, and I know i'd miss the styling alot. What do you miss about the S?

it is sort of funny.... my hybrid civic is faster than an S2000 from a roll (2100lbs with 185hp and damn short gearing).....but now it seems damn slow compared to the evo....which may just be the torque difference. from 60-100mph in 5th gear seems like it takes not time at all in traffic.
I am planning on taking the evo to the track (road course) early in April for a day... I already posted a decent 13.46

I just read on the evo forum about a guy who made 9 awhp just from taking off the air filter and muffler. 4 awhp from a BOV???? This thing just makes power no matter what you do to it! Very restricted from the factory.

I have never modified a car that it would void the warranty (never messed with electronics of the car, etc..), but one guy has run 12.7's with just an exhaust, intake and boost controller.....sounds like the cars are bottled up somewhere.
I will hopefully add a decent exhaust (nothing like that J's exhaust though) and an intake at somepoint.

To me, it would seem to make the perfect daily driver and its something you could track. I wonder how the STI will compare? More HP, 6-Speed. Any comments on that?
I would still keep the S2000 though. I'm NEVER giving it up.

xpander, I never got it...
I went to the dealership, drove it, loved it, went in to sign the paperwork, and found that my previously negotiated markup of $1500 had grown mysteriously to $4000... My salesman said that the finance manager would not allow our previously negotiated price because that is what they had been selling their previous EVO's at....
I told them to go Fvck themselves, and went and bought a 2000 Tahoe the next day for $20k...
