WTF, then why the hell did you bought the S2k? It basically came 3rd in every comparison test also. So stfu.
What the hell are you talking about? Dont act as if the s2000 NEVER come in first place. There was a review where it came in 2nd to the Lotus Elise. What about the one C&D comparison where it came 1st and it beat the BMW Z4, Boxter, 350Z conv, audi TT. So you can STFU.

Everyone made such a big deal about the BIG BAD IS-F and the poster, including myself, hasnt seen the car break higher than third place. Really though...who really gives? Its just mag racing anyway. If cars were bought based on such results the road wouldnt be as diverse.

I don't like the fake exhausts either, but there are plenty more. This was found by 4TehNguyen on clublexus.com

R8

Others include the LP640 and the Veyron
Nice find. I was thinking the same thing. It's not much of a big deal.

By fake, that's what it meant? Bumper integrated exhaust TIPS?
That ain't fake.
I thought the IS-F's lower tips on each side had no pipes connected.
Like, hollow.
Am I wrong?

do tips really give off that much towards performance or even any at all?
they look nice...and i think the way Lexus went with putting them in the bumper gave the car a pretty nice look....

maybe they need a new name instead of exhaust tips - in the case of the IS-F and others like it - seems from what other are posting, it might be a trend among the car makers

you must dig fake vents and useless tailpipes
What is it about people bagging on this car for that? Not a comment about the IS-F goes by anymore without that being brought up. But then, I do't understand how it started to begin with, because the IS-F I saw in person very clearly had open pipes connected to those outlets in back. As far as fake vents go, there've been so many of those by now on so many cars it's not even a relevant point.

you're absolutely right, and i thought this was retarded when i first saw it. the is-f's lower tips have no pipes connected to it, only the top ones do. bumper integrated exhaust tips isnt really anything new....now exhaust tips with no pipes behind them....errr i can't think of any car with it.

love the rev matching downshifts on this car though

Saw one in person for the first time the other day.

First time EVER I've really liked the styling of a Lexus. All of their vehicles look like bland boxes, but this was the first one that had a nice aggressive look to it.
