Saw a Nissan Murano a few nights ago on the freeway
On the 405 Southbound in Irvine, where it seems all prototypes and test vehicles live.
Man that is an ugly POS. Similar to a Lexus RX300 from the rear and a PT Cruiser on steriods form the front. FUGLY.

I saw one last month or so, I'm still in shock that a car looking like that is actually out on the streets! It definately looks unique and futuristic; it looks like some movie prob from a sci-fi film.
The ugly issue aside, can you say family resemblence and re-sale value of the current Nissan/Infinity lineup?
It's interesting how they're testing out all kinds of "different" looks in different models, like what Chris Bangle is doing, but you know, I think there's a difference between a designer with talent and ones that don't. I know a lot of you guys aren't big fans of the new BMWs, but they have a theme going and look well-rounded, you got to admit that. The Nissans, just seem to be a mix-matching game.

I saw one at a local dealership and sat in it. I personally like it. Atleast it stands apart from the sea of ther look-alike SUV's. I actually thought about getting one until I saw the Infiniti G35 Coupe.

I'm neutral on the styling, but I love the VQ engine, CVT, and car-like suspension. I hope it depreciates faster than the MDX, so I can buy a nice 2 year old Murano for less than $20,000 for my wife. One great thing about Nissan, is depreciation - the used market is full of Nissan bargains!
