Default Saw the new Porsche Cayenne at dealership....

this suv runs with the big dawgs, like the BMW 4.6is and Mercedes ML55, owning a Mercedes suv, i was quite jealous of the engine that porsche offers in their first ever SUV. its no match to my ML320... the back was nice, and the interior almost made me cream in my pants. The front, all i said was "Wtf?" THE NICEST SUV now turned into a porsche on steriods. It is so ugly!!!!!! Who would pay 60-70k for an suv that has the ugliest front? Thumbs up on everything BUT the front. I wouldnt buy the Porsche Cayenne even if i had the money , ill just stick to the ML55 and 4.6is... Anyone else see the Porsche?

If I have the money, I would buy it. I think it would handle like no other SUVs! The base one is about the same (acceleration/power) as the X5 4.6 and ML55. But the twin turbo one ~450 hp, is just in a league of its own.

didn't take any but here are some pics from Porsche...
But the coolest feature by far is the adjustable air suspension, no need for aftermarket springs of any kind, can get real low like a normal car, and as high as an SUV! Very cool!

Why???

God Why???

Loving the quad exhaust... this is a nice shot of the Cayenne...

Is that a factory option? If so, i wanna be first in line to get one! hehehe

Very nice interior, beats MB and BMW on this one!

And it has a 450hp Twin Turbo V8 Optional....

Is it me or does the Cayenne resemble the Hyundai Santa Fe?

Materials: Alloy block /cylinder heads
Displacement: 4,511 cc
Configuration: V8 Biturbo
Horsepower: 450 hp
Torque (max): 460 lb-ft @ 2,250 - 4,750 rpm
0-62 mph: 5.6 sec.
Top Speed: app. 165 mph

Fast or not I don't think it's attractive. But, I haven't seen it in person yet to really comment. Some cars just look horrible in pictures and better in person.

I think VW did a better job with their version of the same vehicle:
