Default Saw the FJ Cruiser on the Road

I saw a blue one and a silver going east on I-70 as I was going west. I didn't get a great look at them, but from what I saw, they looked pretty close to the magazine pictures. So, if you liked what you saw in print, you won't get too surprised when you wander onto the lot.

Personally, I may be tired of looking at the blue concept, because I liked the silver much better. I went to the Toyota site and built a yellow/gold one pretty loaded for $30k.

FJ Cruiser is basically the retro look of the FJ40 (FJ is the project name for Land Cruiser) from the 1950s.

The chassis and powertrain is basically a 4runner.

Saw a silver one at a Toyota dealership in Canada last weekend. The only thing uglier than the exterior was the interior.

one of my customers just bought one. She paid over 32K loaded. I'd rather get the Element for under 20K. It has more juice for off-roading, but I wouldn't spend 30K for a car to go off road. My jeep for 5K will go wherever that FJ will go. The interior on the element is also more spacious. The FJ just reminds me why I really don't care for toyota.
