Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice/Vauxhall VX220/Opel Sp
I can't seem to find any good information on these cars. They're all based on the same GM platform, right? What are their similarities and what are their (mechanical) differences?
Specifically, the Soltice/Sky is Front-Engined (from what I can tell) while the Vauxhall/Opel is MR. What gives?

The new Vauxhall at least is based on the Saturn/Solstice platform: http://vauxhall.co.uk/futureModels/VXLightning.jhtml
I can't find any information on the Opel, though. Is the Opel just going to be continued to be made by Lotus while the Vauxhall will start to be built by GM?

Well, don't forget, GM has been known to buy chasis and engines from other manufacturers. So maybe the sharing is just money based. For instance, the Saturn Vue uses a Honda V6.
