I think 170 hp is not enough.
Well that depends. Remember the Elise "only" has 190hp toyota motor, but its quicker than the S due to its low weight.
I like the looks of it, and i cant wait to see what it looks like in person saturday at the NYC autoshow.

Looks about as cool as Toyota's newest MR2... which isn't very cool.
There is a new Toyota MR2? The last one (the MR2 Spyder, otherwise known as MR-S) is discontinued as of 2005. So what is this "newest" MR2?

It's basically the same car as the Solstice which weighs 2,860 lbs. I wouldn't expect the Sky to be much less than that.

According to Autoweek, there will be a Solstice coupe model and a turbo option. A turbo Sky coupe would be a interesting car.

2. Reliability - my friends with Saturns have all had big issues within several years of ownership. Tho it did take several years for these issues to arise, I've had Hondas, Toyotas, and Mazdas for many more years on them that didn't have any of the issues they had w/ their Saturns.
I have known people with Saturns that ran forever with no problems. My girlfriend has an L series as a company car that is a lemon though. She has been to ther dealer about once a month for the last year.

I still really like the looks of the Sky though, much more than the Solstice.

All that I can say is...it will take a lot more than "Aesthetic Appeal" in the looks dept. and a "GM Employee Discount Program" to get me back into a GM product. Now that I have owned both a Toyota and Honda I realize what "quality" means...I may never buy domestic again.

I love how threatened this forum gets when there's another roadster on the streets.
