modded its all over for s2k.
It is going to take a lot of work to get 120HP (with the higher weight it will need a little more than the 95-100 the S2000 blower provides) on the GXP. It is not a simple matter of "turn up the booossst"
And with C&D turning up near identical times, I don't think you're going to see publications put the GXP in the mid 13s any time soon. The power/weight is just not there.

Okay, to sum up C&D article:
Good
1. Tons of torque
2. Lots of power for corner exit
3. Still pretty cheap if you skip the options ($50 more per month compared to a fairly loaded base model)
4. Great looking exterior
5. Lots of leeway with stability control on - not too intrusive
Indifferent
1. Understeers at the limit - not necessarily bad, since you can steer with the throttle too. Inherently "safe"
Bad
1. Slower than S2000
2. Less grip than S2000
3. Less braking power than S2000
4. Poor steering feel
5. Brake fade after two laps on a real racetrack
6. Reduced grip
7. Extra 150 lbs compared to base Solstice
Did I miss anything?

also, on a transaction price basis, I don't think it beats the S2000, either. The GXP is going to be selling for 35K (you ain't gettin' MSRP) any time soon, whereas the S2000 can be had for a few thousand off its MSRP.
While each has its plusses and minuses, I'd still take the S any day, although it would be nice having more torque for city driving. Not that the F20C is torque-deficient (I think the F20C puts out more than any other 2.0L out there).

I don't know.
I do know that if you got the compression lowered and put 18PSI into the F20C it would make a hell of a lot more than 260HP...probably more like 450-500.
