And meanwhile, the review I read about this car said that Audi still kept the same understeer because owners are so used to it in them...

hmmm

A colleague really likes this car tho', seems like he'll be getting one. I guess the truth is in the pudding... err, I mean, the test drive.

No, 5-10k more.

Procede 335i is faster than a RS4.

If those numbers are true, then GO AUDI!!! BMW launched a war with there N54. Its good that they're on the same acceleration grounds.(lets see if it carries over to production) But lets wait and see if their on handling and fun to drive grounds....Very nice car though.

A5 = 335 price
S5 = $10K more
RS5 = $10K to $15K more than S5, $10K more than M3

(When it's dry)

I think the S5 will fall between the 335 and M3 pricing.

that's quicker than the 335i (I believe) as quick as the RS4 (?).

I'd like to see a few more test times, but for one test that's great (!)
It's pretty close to an RS4. I've seen 4.3 second 0-60 times for the RS4, but similar trap speeds. They really wailed on the S5 to get those numbers (high rpm launch with sidestepped clutch).

There was some rumor of a V10 RS5. THAT would be cool to see....

Things are going pretty well at work and I think we may give the S4 to my parents and pick up an S5 for my wife....

Mmmmm. Shiny toys!!!!

I thought you slip the clutch on AWD cars to get the most effective launch.
