I was having a beer with a friend of mine and he tells me last night that the s2k doesnt have the curb appeal it used to.. While I agree that the minute a car comes out that slowly declines, I thought it still got plently of attention although its not in every magazine anymore.
It still performs well even though it's not compared to every convertible available. Have people forgotten about the s2k in the magazines?
I seemed to have trouble finding articles in any of them these days. I would think that GRM or some honda mag would have curent articles..
So wheres that wide spread attention it still desesrves?

That's the nice part of living in the middle of nowhere, every time I take the S out it gets a lot of attention and stares, etc. I think the mags don't talk about it much since it has been relatively unchanged for so long. They still compare the sweet shifter to new cars that come out, so even though it is not talked about so much anymore it is still one of the best kept "secrets" on the road.

What's funny is that I had my silverstone '05 S2000 for less than a week and a guy hung his head out of the window of his Cavalier and remarked, "Hey man, that's an awesome car!" I only got that once or twice in the 4.5 years I owned my C5 Corvette.
I think the S2000 looks nice. It's a classic design that will stand the test of time pretty well.

of course over the past 6 or so years it has lost some of its curb appeal. i specifically remember the first time i saw an s2k in person my jaw was on the ground (i was a valet parking as a college student). but i took the s out 2 weeks ago and while i was on the highway i saw an entire family staring out their windows at my car. not bad for a bone stock honda thats has looked basically the same since it came out in the fall of 1999.
