Have you driven one? They are super refined and stiff. I prefer 911s.

Exactly. When I sold cars, all of our training was centered around getting the customer focused on monthly payment rather than price, trade in value, interest rate, etc.

cayman S, not just because i've owned both S2K and currently owns a CS, but also because it's just a nice car to drive.

check planet-9.com for pre-owned CS, typically babied by their owners, and if they have extended warranty, private party purchase allows for the warranty to transfer.

It sure sounds like the thread author should go with his gut and get the S2000.

You shouldn't have to be convinced to get a Cayman S.
