having owned both, its like comparing apples to oranges.
s2k- will out run the sti in the canyons anyday; better gearbox and tranny; definitely put together alot better. (sti's interior and suspension develops noises over time); rpm's go forever; convertible and definitely a true roadster.
sti- AWD, handful of torque (gotta love that turbo); more room; brembos; stock bbs's; sh$t, thats all i could really think of.. Oh yah, the parts are ALOT easier to obtain, no 3 month wait which is a big plus!!
insurance was actually cheaper w/the s2k being that the sti holds its value more, thus the insurance would have to put up more money if anything were to happen. The sti does eat up gas like a biznitch, but thats only if your a torque hore. Overall, 2 totally different vehicles, I myself would've kept the s2k but w/a baby on the way i unfortunately wasn't able to throw a car seat in the 2 seater.

I got a question for you: Why do you keep making stupid threads and never go back to reply to them?

IMO the STI is the type of car where you either LOVE it or HATE it theres no in between... in other words an enthusiasts car only. The S2k is universally loved by chicks, dudes whatever.
Again like someone stated earlier you have to compare apples to apples.
Sedan or coupe? Hard top or convertible? Speed or better handling? Turbo or n/a? I can go on like this. Just see which car you will have the most fun in and make a choice. Oh and don't forget to drive them both.

My verdict: S2k. nothing beats making that ass spin with the top down on a sunny day.

What I find amazing is the number of posts this troll continually attracts and that there are people seriously responding to this thread. I mean there are at least 3-4 of these a day from this guy.

Yes, that's because the STi/Evos look like rice rockets with their gaudy bumpers and huge wings. The S has widely-accepted and accepted style You can't argue the performance of the STi/Evo, but the fugly looks ruin the cars.

No. I'm referring to the original starter of this thread. He's started so many threads with similar questions or comparisons and alot of them have already been locked down.
