s2000 vs G35 vs 350z
Hi all. I'm lookin to purchase one of those cars listed or any other cars if recommanded.
S2000 or G35 coupe 6speed or 350z 6speed with LSD.
I want some honest answers since it's s2k board.
I mean is the convertible really that worthy?
but i love all of them

Drive all of them and decide from there. The S2000 is pure sportscar and a blast to drive. The G35 and 350Z are both sports cars, but more in the grand touring sense, although they handle very well. What I'm trying to say is that the G35/350Z are bigger and heavier with torquey V6 motors, but redline is like 6500rpm (right?). The S2000 doesn't have as much torque, but winds out to 9000rpm. With the top down and the motor singing to 9 grand, life is good.

I saw the new G35 the other day on the freeway and it was followed by a Ferrari 456!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had a resemblance. The G35 is very subtle and 350Z grabs more attention. I like both of them.

Well just got back from the San Antonio auto/truck show today and I'm a huge fan of the S, but the Z & G35 are both awesome machines.
They had a organe Z (touring) and I was impressed. This one didn't have the 18" wheels and brembo brakes, but it was the first time I saw one in person and I really liked it a lot. If you go for the Z I would spring for the Track model.
The exterior of the G35 is exactly how a sport coupe should look like. The interior is damn near perfect. Pop-up navigation, short throw 6-speed, and very impressed.
The best for last...... ..........the S
Now even though the S doesn't have luxuries such as the Z or G35, I still would choose the S because the engine is magic on wheels and the shifter is just about perfect.
Well whatever you choose, you can't go wrong. Good Luck

I just test drove the G35 coupe this weekend. This one had the 5 speed auto (I prefer the manual) but I didn't mind. It's really a different car from the S2000. Anyways, the G35 looks gorgeous in person...very nice interior, smoooth engine. I don't like the 350Z's styling as much. I think I'm going to buy the G35 coupe.
But you really can't go wrong with any of these cars. Different cars for different people....

They're so diff. that it would be meaningless to ask us. I've driven the 350Z, own the S2000, and have checked out the G35C. All very worthy, fun to drive cars. Just pick the one that provides the right balance of fun and practicality for you.

For me the G35c works the best.
It's the best looking and you get a back seat, which would come in handy when I want to take the whole family somewhere.
But, I really do enjoy having a ragtop.
