If you can get the Boxter , by all means go for it. But you have to put into account the maintenance cost. Just drive both. If you plan to mod the S2k will be cheaper but not by much. You could get alot more power if you go FI in the S2k but the porsche has that Bling factor.

A boxster is a convertible cayman...
not in 2006, the boxster was less powerful and always less stiff. cayman looks better overall IMO.

Personally, I stopped buying new cars. Wasteful. (In many ways.)

Go and drive them back to back and I'm sure you'll end up in the Boxster, I did. S2000 has the transmision feel over the P-car and that is it, the rest is day and night difference, in Boxster's favor.

I'm positive the porsche will be the better car, but I'd sleep better at night with the honda. On paper, maitenance cost wise, they're comparable, but so are audis, and in reality it just doesn't pan out that way for a lot of people.

AP2. The Boxster is a wanna be car for 911 dreamers and lacks soul imo.

Cayman S? Yes, that's a nice enough step up.

Quite a huge difference in pricing here.... Of course if the price doesn't matter, Boxster S all day for me.

Too bad I can afford a 911 and would still pick a Boxster S over it.

And what are you doing with an S2000? Are you just another wannabe 2002+NSX owner?
